Calhoun’s Spring Music
Concert Announced
The Calhoun Community College Music Department will present its
annual Spring Concert March 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Fine
Arts building on the Decatur campus. The public is invited.
Admission is $5.00 and will be collected at the door.
Featured performers are the Calhoun Guitar Ensemble, under the
direction of Mrs. Margarita Valls de Quesada, the Calhoun Chorale, under the
direction of Dr. Holly Powe, and the Calhoun Gospel Choir under the direction
of Dr. Reginald Jackson. Traditional works by Tallis, Haydn and Pinkham
will be performed along with contemporary pieces by Irving Berlin and John P.
Kee.
