LIMESTONE COUNTY COMMISSION ANNOUNCES
HISTORIC COURTHOUSE LIGHT SHOW TO BRING IN THE NEW YEAR 



ATHENS, Alabama  –  For the first time,  the historic Limestone County Courthouse will welcome the New Year with a multi-colored LED light show.  The Limestone County Commission invites everyone to come downtown and be a part of this inaugural light show that will begin at 11:00 p.m. on the east and west sides of the Courthouse and will end with the countdown to 2017.   The Philips Color Kinetics ColorBlast and ColorGraze lighting system along with the creative software designing of Pixelumenlab creates the colors on the columns and walls that make this beautiful piece of Limestone County History shine bright.  The Courthouse is the first in the State of Alabama with this state of the art color LED technology and the Commission is excited to have the opportunity to bring it to Limestone County.
