Limestone County Commission Signs Proclamation for Limestone County Restaurant Week

As part of the Year of Alabama Foods and the Athens-Limestone County Tourism Association’s (ALCTA) Twenty-Twelve: Trails, Tales, and Taters, we would like to ask for your participation in a Limestone County Restaurant Week August 26th to September 4th -- which will follow the State of Alabama’s Restaurant Week August 17th-26th.   Our desire is to highlight all the opportunities to dine within Limestone County for travelers and locals alike, so we are including chain establishments as well as individually-owned establishments.

Cayce Lee, ALCTA organizer for this event says, “This is a grand opportunity for everyone to enjoy a culinary exploration of our community.   We want everyone to bring their appetites and sample everything from bbq to catfish to hot wings to sushi – everything you can find right here in Limestone County Alabama.”
Limestone County Commission Chairman Stanley Menefee will be signing and presenting the proclamation for Limestone County Restaurant Week to Ms. Lee this Friday, August 17th at 10:00am in the Clinton County Courthouse Annex second floor meeting room.
