Athens State  Alumni Group Sponsoring Lynchburg Trip

        
       ATHENS,  Ala. - The Athens State University Alumni Association is sponsoring a  trip to Lynchburg, Tennessee on Saturday, April 5.  Participants will be able to enjoy this chartered bus excursion at the  all-inclusive cost of $65 per person.

                The  departure  time is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. with an estimated arrival time of  10:30 a.m.  After your        choice of a shopping period in the quaint village of Lynchburg or a tour of  the  world-famous Jack Daniel’s Distillery, attendees will be served   lunch at Miss Mary Bobo’s Boarding House.   The estimated departure time from Lynchburg will be 3:30 p.m. with an estimated  arrival time in Athens at 5:00 p.m.

                “While our overseas and domestic trips have been very popular, we wanted to offer a  fun day trip and Lynchburg turned out to be the perfect destination,” states Alumni Affairs Director Trish DiLullo. “We expect the reservations for this trip to fill up fast.”
